If you’re a dog owner that lives in or is visiting Denver with your dog, you’ll be happy to know that the city of Denver owns and operates 12 dog parks. All of these places are free to visit but require your dog to be fully vaccinated and spayed/neutered unless they’ve obtained an intact permit from the city. While you might have to pay a little to visit, some of the privately owned places have a few more perks than the freebies, including the Belleview Station Dog Park that’s located beside a dog-friendly beer garden or the 100+ acre Cherry Creek Off Leash Area in nearby Aurora.
