Spokane is filled with beautiful parks and is home to the biggest urban waterfall. Besides easy access to mountain ski resorts and nature trails outside the city, Spokane has plenty of areas where you can walk your leashed dog. It’s more difficult to find places to let your dog off-leash, but there are a few spots designed solely for free-running canines.

Here’s a list of off-leash dog parks in and near Spokane if you and your dog are new to the area or just aren’t sure which parks have a designated off-leash section.

Summary

Home to a variety of beautiful dog parks, Spokane also has access to the rugged mountain views and natural landscapes in Washington. Plenty of the parks offer an almost rural place to visit inside the city limits, though few enable you to walk your dog off-leash, play fetch, or let them be with other dogs.

Although the only official dog park in Spokane is the SpokAnimal Dog Park at High Bridge, there are a few smaller off-leash areas around the city. We hope that this list has helped direct you to the right places to let your dog run free.
