How to Train Your Dog in Agility

Nicole Cosgrove

When your pet has learned about all the hurdles, you need to place it altogether. It is referred to as sequencing. This is your task to let your pet understand the order where he has to approach hurdles. Begin by connecting a couple of hurdles, like a leap along with the tunnel. Initially, give your pet the instruction ‘big jump’. After that, before he reaches the surface on the flip side, say to him ‘tunnel’ while you go to the tunnel.

Timing is significant with sequencing. In case you are delayed much time to give the instruction for the upcoming barrier, your pet can make the option for himself, so it will not be the correct one. When your pet gets the set of performing two obstacles in a line, it is possible to include one more, and so on, until he becomes capable of completing a whole course. As soon as he can easily do this properly, you will be in a position to participate.
