The name for these mares is derived from the saying Los Cabellos de Paso Fino, which translates to “the horses with the fine steps.” This breed was an integral part of a breed program for explorers and are now familiar with their work in recreational and trail riding. Colonial Spanish Horse Breed
Famous for their concord exploration, Colonial Spanish horses were established in the Caribbean and Mexico, where they later migrated into North America. They were introduced to thoroughbred stallions, and offspring were trained for the military or farm work. For a strong and obedient horse, you could consider Colonial for a name.
Andalusian Horse Breed
