PetSmart allows you to exchange a sick fish for a refund or exchange if you do it within 14 days and bring your receipt. The store does require that you bring the fish in without causing it any harm. If you have purchased a toy from PetSmart and opened it only to find out your pet hates it, you may get upset. After all, it’s not fun to buy a toy for your pet only to discover he won’t play with it.
