8 Labrador Retriever Breeders in Tennessee

1. Smoky Mountain Labrador

Untitled

  • Knoxville, TN

Smoky Mountain Labrador produces dogs from the English strain, so they are a bit different than the typical Labrador Retrievers that you’re used to. For this reason, they are also more expensive than some other breeders.

That said, each puppy comes with a hip and elbow dysplasia guarantee, AKC limited registration, and all important vaccinations. Smoky Mountain also provides a health guarantee for their puppies.

Their typical wait time is 6–8 months.

2. Rocky Flats Kennels

This kennel specializes in breeding English Standard Labrador Retrievers in yellow, black, and red. They are a show breeder, so many of their puppies have champions in their family tree.

They are a smaller kennel, producing only two to three litters a year. However, the dogs that they do produce are bred for conformation and temperament. You can contact them through their website for information on their current litter plans.

3. MTN View Kennels

All their puppies come with current vaccinations and have great temperaments (they wouldn’t get to be show dogs, otherwise). Their puppies are temperament tested before being sent to their forever homes. Their dogs are also AKC registered.

4. Trinity Labradors

This breeder regularly produces puppies. They also donate some of their puppies to service dog training programs that serve veterans. They don’t produce quite as many litters as some other breeders out there. However, they are still active.

Their puppies are moderately priced, and they provide an extensive number of guarantees. They also provide lifetime support for their puppies, which can potentially save you on unnecessary vet bills.

Their puppies also come with a microchip, the first set of shots, and deworming.
