Killian is a trained farrier who also studied Equine Science, and lives in the Rocky Mountains with his four horses: Magpie, a black overo Paint; Thor, a part-Icelandic colt; and two Quarter Horse half-brothers, Scorpius and Puck. If he’s not working with horses, then he’s researching and writing about them! Killian also cares for three outdoor cats, two indoor cats, and one dog, and is hoping to add chickens, sheep, a cow, and a pig to his large animal family. In his spare time, Killian makes soap and candles, and he is learning to weave saddle blankets.
