Cause of This Dog Food Recall
The affected product revealed the bacteria, Salmonella after testing was conducted by the FDA. The company has since ceased the distribution of the product and the FDA will continue their investigation.
What You Need to Know About Salmonella Poisoning
If your pet has Salmonella infection, they may become lethargic and have fever, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, and vomiting. Some less obvious side affects decreased appetite, fever and abdominal pain.
